Plus the 35 has the less refined EA113 that has

    1. forged internals,
    2. S3 injectors

Which makes the car more fun to drive and doesn't drink half a bottle of oil after one track day.

VS the overly refined EA888 which doesn't have the above and makes the current GTI as boring as as Corolla/bat poo to drive.

Is there any room for negotiation on the price, seeing as it is a limited edition? Anyone who looked at the Adidas edtion able to comment?

And the K04 Turbo instead of the K03.... whether that's a positive or a negative depends on where you like your torque and power to be

35 should be a little more desirable then the Adidas.. I will be looking at Full retail for such a beast.

I'm tempted by this car but I'm wondering about options. Can you specify with ACC, or Sunroof or RVC ? If its just a 'standard' limited edition then I'm not really interested.

One thing noone has asked is if the 35 comes with larger brakes like the R has. Or does it still sport the standard GTI calipers.

Just checked the Ausmotive page - still the standard GTI calipers.

Still prefer the more aggressive looks of the R though. The 35 still looks like a normal GTI.
