Osram Super Bright 65W Off-Road.
Difference is really night and day and have had no issues at all with them.
Definitely whiter light.
Hey all,
Recently swapped out my parkers on my 147 for some nice white LED's and love the look over the yellow globe. (Running parkers only as DRL's.)
Whilst I like the yellow interior lights (suits the beige leather well) I would like to get some nice crisp white H7's in the front to match the over all loom of the car.
So for those that don't have the BI-X and have swapped your stock globes out, what did you go for and would you recommend them.

Ah yes just like the late MJ ... once you start going white, there's no way of turning black (I mean "back")!
But I think it'll be hard to colour match the LEDs (which are usually 6000K) with conventional bulbs.
I only know one company PIAA that make globes in these higher Kelvin ranges.
But very hard to pick out originals from fakes online (especially on eBay).
FWIW, even if you can get 6000K globes they're still not the same colour as 6000K LEDs.
I know this for a fact based on the 7500K globes that I have installed in my fogs. They should be more bluer based on the Kelvin!
However when you look at the pics, my 6000K LED parkers & xenons appear more bluer than the fogs:
Perhaps consider HID conversion kits instead (if you don't mind spending the money) and I recommend this mob and the Blesk brand:

Thanks for the reply's guys.
What about these?
"Philips DiamondVision produces 5,000K of dazzling white light – so you and your car can stand out from the crowd"
Ausitig: Are those the same LED Parkers that you sent me in the pic? Yours look like your getting more coverage across the complete "Blinker Section"? Perhaps just the picture?
Were the fogs a PITA to change the globe? (H4's?)
EDIT: I don't mind if it isn't an exact match, I think a difference in K between parkers and dip's can look ok.
Cheers,
Superviza

Not the same ones ... mine have 5 little LEDs from memory.
But definitely same colour!
But they do look a lot bluer and brighter in the pics than in real life!
Certainly the vertical part lit up is an illusion!
The fogs are the HB4 or 9006 type on my car. So should be on yours also.
Piece of cake to change!
Just unscrew some screws on a flap that opens up inside the front tyre wall, to access fogs.
However will need to turn the wheel to full lock in the opposite direction to get good access to area.

If you want the brightest whitest possible light, stick to 4300K temperature. It mimics daytime light, anything above that only appears brighter, they actually strain your eyes further. My mate had the Phillip Diamond Vision, the light output is reduced due to the tint in the bulb itself, not really worth it IMO, they last for a while though.
Bulb replacement as per team_v suggestions seems to be the best bet.

Thanks for clarifying/confirming the illusion! would be nice is we could get some more intense light across the vertical, but i guess the blinkers would look weird then!
RE the fogs, are you running the Blesk ones?

No mate, the only LEDs pictured are the Parkers.
Fogs are PIAA 7500K "plasma blue" HB4 / 9006 globes.
Point of posting the pics was to show that colour of globes whilst supposedly bluer are no match to the lower kelvin LEDs.
BTW 99Reza is right! The higher the kelvin the lower its lumen.
FWIW 5000K offers the best compromise between output and colour.
Absolute pure white light with a slight sacrifice in output.
Those LED fogs would give you the colour but no substance (especially at night).
